REVIEW: Prison Break

After months and months of convincing, I finally consider to give it a try. Thanks to C0Y. First, I didn’t want to watch it because its all about prison. Facilities like Fox River remind me of Steve and Benjie and how I owe them promised letters. Oh yea, because of them I was really educated about perverted crimes, horny inmates and rotten authority.

However, I watched the show. It took me back to the first movie i saw on VCR - “Escape from Alcatraz” starring Clint Eastwood. Big difference! Any other prison stories have this default plot, which is to break loose from prison. Either they are innocent or they just want to prove structural flaws. Prison Break, on the other hand, put a twist. Say what? Getting in just to get out? Yeah sure, nice one huh? I give it a real ‘Oohhhh’ because it really establish an extreme degree of passion for the family. I mean, Michael Scofield could’ve just find ways to tell his brother all about the plan. Afterall, Lincoln is also a smart ass.

Although the setting is a prison, you could notice that it is about family at any given angle of it. It is about love, hope and faith… even just a little faith. It is ironice because it’s hard to be viewed as a family show because of some violent scenes.

Wait… is that Joko Diaz? Hahahahahaha! Not! It’s Wentworth Miller!
