Doggy Talk
Earlier this afternoon, I played with my dog - fetch my old traction pad. We were so engrossed and then suddenly I fell right on top of her and landed on my butt. It didn’t hurt a bit, but the side of my foot hurt somehow. Why wouldn’t I be aching? It was a hard ground with a lot of pebbles, more of small rocks actually. Ouch! Hmmnn… I was happy somehow because I proved that I really have trained my body to survive any sort of fall. Thanks to skimboarding! Mastering a wipeout do the trick, then a little research of how to control the impact, weight and force. It’s applying physics to the body, actually.
And honestly, I hated how most of my buddies were fascinated when I recovered instantly after a big fall, like it’s all I could ever do. Yeah right! But for what it’s worth. I always knew how to fall… to fall good and I had stood up over and over again without being hurt.
