Happy Feet

15.4.14

It has been awhile since I used my running shoes for their sole purpose. After overloading myself with chocolate biscuits (thank you full moon), I decided to walk or run, whichever was convenient. I didn't expect to finish 3.17mi run plus 1.81mi walk. It was a walk first, run straight later before the sky accommodated the bright round moon with its darkness.

My distance made me happy, because after a long laziness, I still got it. Not really, because two years ago I could run faster and farther (according to Nike+). Getting older? No. Just flat-out laziness.

So I got really inspired and revived the DJ in me. Literally. I was a DJ back then when DJ-ing was not a huge thing. I was good at turning on a party, and I was sure damn good On Air hosting the Saturday afternoon rock show. *sigh* It felt like I was a rockstar until my mother heard me on the radio and made me choose between school and the booth. Of course, I chose school. Who would not? The parties were always because of school. Hahaha!

Now here I am reunited with beats and rhythms once again. My first playlist is a dedication to my running feet, hoping to extend speed eventually: (in order or shuffle, as preferred)

1. Soak Up The Sun by Sheryl Crow
2. You And Me Song by The Wannadies
3. Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves
4. Happy by Pharrell Williams
5. I Love It by Icona Pop ft. Charli XCX
6. Dancing In The Moonlight by Toploader
7. Nothing In The World by Paris Hilton *I know, right?!*

Why just seven? Because I believe a playlist should be like a phone number, upholding the universally known magic number of the brain.

And... I bought the songs on iTunes. *I know, right?!*
