seacielo - Da Kine o’ Life

As I finished a no-ripping of surfers summer, I get to spend a lot of time in a surfing community. The authorities really had no exact idea about skimboarding competition. So there, Sir Steve and his crew - Upaw and James went to organize and host the event. I was just there to check the place out, whether or not I could have a really nice hut with the shore swell view. Nope. Not really. I didn’t feel that kind of ecstatic or cosmic feeling being there. It’s not a negative vibe, the place just didn’t take my breath away. Perhaps it’s not the season. Regardless, the place was okay but not that great. But then, I get to meet the godfather of skimboarding in Mindanao, Sir Steve. Here’s some pix:

Trust me, you would not want to go there without a reason. It’s the edge of the world.

Where to? where to next? Pick a place and I will be there. Ha! If I can afford… Hmmnn. I still don’t want to spill, but I want to keep my feet on my common grounds. I still want to stay in my comfort zone where my family and friends are around. I’m still thinking. I am considering Lanuza. However, judging by my previous trip, I think I have to get some kind of travel health insurance. I always want to have one, but I don’t have the time to settle this kind of matters. My mother always remind me. I only have a health insurance, I better check if  it covers the travel part. Wait a minute, what do I need an insurance for again? Ohhhh so daddy won’t have to pay when I get injured on into an accident. Ha! *spoiled brat! spoiled brat!* I really have to ponder on this things.
