Spell Loyalty
How do you define loyalty in reality?
It is that hard these days, with all the conniving schemes etc. etc. I say, there is no certainty and everything and everyone will always flip flop to their advantage. (Lol! And you think flip flops are just a pair of slippers? Please give your self a flip with Mr. Webster or Merriam).
Anyway, to what extent does flip-flopping have its way with loyalty? I know I am being political. But really, how difficult is picking sides? In ancient history, there is only the good and the evil. Although there is no lesser evil, there will always be a greater good. Get me?
My point is as I’ve known from historical recounts, a person has to decide whether he is good or evil. C’mon! The basics! And well, everything else between raises the flag of cowardice a.k.a. neutrality a.k.a. fear in all its encompassing meaning e.g. fear of rejection blah blah blah. And then again I ask “why?”
My brother has given me a good answer, base on the movie “Kingdom of Heaven.” He has told me that… “You cannot choose the lesser evil to promote the greater good.” Amazing huh? Oh he is indeed my brother!
I intend no enemies. But if, good requires me so, why not? How about a good talk? Yeah right! Like how big countries do it? And you think there are no conspiracies, spies, etc. behind every peaceful conversation? People don’t listen these days, because they just want to “protect” and/or “advance” their own interest. Oh I get enough lessons from the TV series 24.
Oh yeah, my two favorite distasteful words – protect and advance. Of course, in the concept of being a greedy selfish human being. Actually, it is the basic principle of success, which is by the way, contradictory to the very essence of being human. So where’s loyalty in the mix? Hmmn let me see… just put good and evil after. Hahahaha!
So how is loyalty really spelled?
With passion and compassion. With empathy and less sympathy. With more conscience.
Lesson learned: Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me! -RATM
