Most parents credit themselves for their children’s intelligence, talents, or even skills. I suppose, genes play its part. But really, it seems nobody thinks that children are their own person. Literally. They have chosen you to be their parents, before they become a tangible human being. Also, do not make their efforts and achievements all about your efforts and sacrifices, or that, to make proud so do speak.
Always remember that parents are hosts to new souls that the universe has decided to be material.
And so, I am always grateful that Asher has chosen Brad and I to be his parents. Fuck, we are a handful.
